Seems like a pretty decent way to lose the cops if you ask me. Might lose your life in the process, however. Plus if the cop gets hit, that's probably another felony they will stick you with.

I see some criminal types crossing around Sherwood forest fairly often

I guess it's their shortest route to work

It was just before the exit to get on 10. I was getting on 12 from airline headed West with a BRPD car following me. He hauled butt once he got on the interstate and as I came around a bend in 12 I saw someone in the road and I though they were going to help someone hat may have been in a accident. I started to slow down and then almost came to a stop as the guy was running. The guy then jumped the concrete wall and ran across east bound traffic running around with another officer in his car. The officer was able to stop traffic and the guy waited until the officer opened his door and he took off again and jumped the concrete wall onto the south side of 12.

Yeah. I saw that clown. Almost at the split. He had already crossed the hwy a couple of times. I almost called the cops myself. It sure didn't look like he'd live the day

Sounds like just a bit of good old fashioned frat hazing. No harm no foul. Boys will be boys.

If you are running from a cop and he slips on a banana peel and breaks his neck, are you:

1. Criminally liable just as if you had broken his neck with your hands?

and/or

2. Liable for his medical bills?
