Should have been given $42 back and I realized when I got home the worthless cashier only gave me $22. How should I go about this?

Use the $22 to alcohol, get drunk, and forget about it.

You are out $20.00. I know that's a tough percocet to swallow.

So you are using cash at Walmart and don't count your hands when handed to you?

That's a tough decision. Not only do you have to drive back to the store, but you have to drive back to a WAL MART, and deal with their customer service.

I'm not sure $20 is worth it.

It was literally the last time I was ever going to step foot in a walmart. I just got a kroger card, but passed by walmart on the way home and I needed pet stuff so I stopped. And I needed to break a $100 bill so I used it

they should be paid $15 an hour anyway, you're just balancing what is right

Plot twist, you did self checkout and it's your own fault

Go back to customer service and tell them what you told us. Walmart is usually pretty agreeable. They may at least give a walmart card. Ask to see store manager if they don't help you. Call headquarters or district manager if necessary. You can usually get whatever you want accomplished if you go that route.

That extra 20 will probably show up when Cashier is done for the day.

I don't usually get caught up in the trashy/not trashy BS, but this hits all kinds of marks:

Shopping at Wal-Mart - Check
Shopping in the middle of the work day - Check
Using cash for groceries/essentials - Check
Being upset over $20 - Check
Being upset enough to bring it to social media - Check

Again, I don't care one way or the other, and you're right to be upset as far as I'm concerned, but this is like a wet dream for the OT.

I still find that cash is pretty convenient in a lot of ways.
