My cousin that just moved there is paying something like 2700 a month for a small 1br apartment.

I am looking around on Pad Mapper and it looks like you can get some more affordable apartments(that aren't dumps) out in the suburbs north or south of the area such as in Lynnwood

I'll be fine

I'll be making more money than I did at my current job + the extra income I made bartending

A lot of my increase in pay will be swallowed by the higher cost of living but on the flipside its a step up and I will be in a supervisory role with people under me, and I will be covering a region rather than just a single DMA.
