This is a Military style pack. Made in America and owned and operated by U.S.Vets.
This will be the second one I own( the other is slightly bigger with different features) but its the best bag I've ever owned.
I mainly use them for travel and hiking/camping and general day trips.

It might be a good bag, but my jansport has gone all over the world with me for the past 15 years. I have abused it and it still holds up. $65 and made by Asian kids. It's not square, either.

I'm all about supporting the Vets but that thing is ugly. I'll stick to my Swiss Gear.

I'm thinking this with a 45lb ruck would be perfect for training for the JMT trip next year

I've followed goruck for awhile and looking to do a challenge but man for $300 surely you can find a bag just as good for cheaper. My voodoo tactical bag was only a hundred something.

That is frickin' garbage.
5.11 is only slightly better.
London Bridge Trading Co. is far and away the best tactical gear you can buy. All LBT gear comes with a lifetime warranty.
