Senator Cassidy worked at Earl K Long for years, making peanuts compared to most gastros, pulling gerbils out of Cornbread Williams arse . Meanwhile Jimmy Kimmel makes 12 million a year and told his audience today that Obamacare brought down rates for people like the good little useful idiot he is. Meanwhile 80% of American counties are down to one insurance carrier and people like me are paying 1400$ a month to carry a little card in our pocket. It's preposterous and it borders on evil to demagogue a topic like this by pimping out your sick son

Upvote.

One of these people have legitimate credentials when it comes to health care issues.

The other is a Hollywood gas bag.

Jimmy Kimmel is a mouthpiece for the the progressive socialist, he's not concerned about real solutions.

He's actually taking this stand for his young son and others like him.

"Kimmel’s newborn son was diagnosed with a heart disease and immediately needed surgery. He had a pre-existing condition."

As you know, or probably don't, under the knew healthcare bill anyone with a pre-existing condition would not be covered. So kids like Jimmy's would not have the opportunity for healthcare. Before you start in with "he can afford it he's a rich celebrity" well think of the millions that won't be able to afford it. If you have a pre-existing condition then you might as well count your days under this new healthcare plan.

Now as far as the politician he lied straight to Kimmel's face about this so he's been ripoing them all every night since. I would like to think most father's would do the same for their children....

Jimmy Kimmel’s son had an amergency heart procedure so apparently that makes you a fricking expert on healthcare in America these days

Obviously no one watched the video, he said 4 or 5 times that he's not a healthcare expert.Kimmel points out that nearly every major health group is against it( ACA,ALA,AHA,ADA etc.)
Bill Cassidy created the Kimmel litmus test for the new bill which essentially is a pledge to cover pre existing conditions. The new bill does not cover pre existing conditions.

I feel bad for Bill Cassidy. Can't be easy to be ridiculed on national television like this. But he really brought it on himself honestly. You're asking for it if you get involved with the media like he did as a Republican.

Funny thing is, Bill Cassidy is from Chicago. You know all those inbreds they have running around Chicago.

#2 - he has a platform and is using it.

His platform is comedy. Not healthcare reform that all of a sudden since his child has a heart defect, he's become an expert.

I'd suggest heading over to National Review. They have a new editorial up that lays it out nicely .

The biggest part of me wants to leave it all alone so it continues to utterly collapse State by state . Because these talking point Obamacare apologists still think it's 2009 and this shite is going to work. And then I remember that their real goal is Single Payer and I remember who I'm dealing with . The goal here remains state control of health care - not affordable and comprehensive health care.

Exactly. Go testify to Congress. But you are here to entertain. I'm not watching MSNBC or Fox News. But hell I'm not watching Kimmel anyway.

He needs to stop using his late night show to take on healthcare
My child has the same heart condition his was diagnosed with, her second surgery will be next summer.
