Bill Gates has already stated his kids ain't getting much, it's going to charity and stuff.

Sting too according to this OneFamily.com linked story.

Bill Gates is worth $85 Billion. He can give each kid $1B and that won’t seem like “getting much”.

I’ll be good with that.

Laws are different in every state. In Louisiana children recieve a certain percentage of forced heirship. He wouldnt have been able to do that in Louisiana unless the kids murdered him.

Forced heir ship doesn't apply to older children. I believe it's kids under 23 and disabled kids.

I'd like to know how much and old geezer like that was worth.

His youngest boy from the first marriage was a drug addict and died of an overdose. Some of the others blamed Jerry for their sibling's death. He apparently didn't like that.

Celebrity Net Worth says $50 million

In the late 50s and early 60s, Jerry was one of the highest paid entertainers on the planet, able to command large salaries and back end profits from his films.

frick Jerry Lewis. Some of yall are going to frick with me about it, but having Muscular Dystrophy, I never liked Jerry Lewis. When he did the MD telethon and called all kids with MD "Jerry's Kids" people use to frick with me (if I got in an argument with my friends or something, they would could always throw that out at me).. But because of the telethon, when you tell someone you have MD they associate it with what they see on it. They would take people with extreme cases and made people have sympathy for them in order to get as much in donations as possible.

Every year that jackass would get on TV and tell everyone "we are so close to finding a cure, but we need your help to continue the research". There were a group of people who called out the telethon wanting to know who was being paid to do the research and questioning some of the things that JL would say on TV and that group was silenced. I read about it awhile back, I forgot exactly how MDA put a silence to them, but they did.

This was maybe 15-20 years ago, but I emailed MDA telling them that they hurt people with MD more than anything because of a stereotype they created and I got a response that pretty much said "while we understand your concern, people do not donate as much with feel good stories". His kids should go piss on his grave.

You guys, cant just downvote without posting actual info. I may be wrong but you havent disprovved me.

My premise is definitely right unless it has been changed in the last 20 years.

I am hoping someone will post some actual info to disprove me though. That way I can say I learned something new today.

Very common Italian names; probably named for various mob cappos who helped him and Dino in the early years.

And to the people suggesting the kids might all have been assholes or frickups - you don't think perhaps the father was the common link there? Parents don't just deserve credit when the kids are successful.

$300,000 for a year of eteplirsen would have been more appropriate.

Being that old with that much money would scare me. I already don’t trust people as it is. Having $100mm to keep track of at 90 years old, I’m sure there were people somewhere along the way that skimmed a few million here and there.

I hope the kids knew before he died. If not, that is a serious kick to the nuts.

I had a Yahoo email account in 1997, and I was a late adopter.
