I still remember hearing the news of his death at my 17th birthday party. I never really came to appreciate him until the last 10 years.

I never got into the Dead when I was younger, then I watched the documentary "Long Strange Trip" on Amazon a few weeks ago. Been exploring ever since.
Sat outside last weekend and jammed on Jerry Garcia Band tunes. They could do a cover pop song and groove the hell out of it.
