May be nsfw for language.

Got a laugh out of that story, remembered seeing this happen, figured some on the OT may too. His savage impersonation cracks me up. Jake is looking better these days, also saw his documentary on Netflix not to long ago. Recommended for 80s and 90s wrestling fans.

He was around Louisiana a lot I think he debuted in Baton Rouge.

Jim Ross tweeted that Akeem lives in Central. Had no idea whatsoever about that.

My mom just sent us some autographs she collected during the early 80's while she worked at a service station. The wrestlers used stop by alot when they were traveling between Lafayette and Baton Rouge. Got the autographs of: Teb Debosie, Jim cornette, midnight express, Terry taylor, hacksaw dugan. Funny as shite they used to all ride together in a white van and come in to the station and grab food and beer. I loved mid south wrestling in the 80's

Brings back memories of the DDT Jake used during the Mid South days in the 80's. At least back then they went out of their way to make it look real.

My brother is 10 yrs older than I am. I remember on Sundays we would get home from church & my brother would run inside to get ready for wrestling. He use to DDT the piss out of me.

Sometimes we would go to my grandma & grandpa's on Sunday and my uncle (my mom had my brother and sister before my grandmother had her last kid) and brother use to get mad while watching wrestling and then mad at each other. I don't know the exact situation, but one time Lex Lugar lost, but whoever beat him cheated and my uncle got so mad he punched a hole in the wall. Then took off running out the house cussing. The my grandpa went outside and had to basically drag him in the house because he was pissed he punch the wall.. And they made us turn off wrestling and you could swear that was the worse thing someone could have done to another person..

I've never been into wrestling, but I love listening to old wrestling stories like these.
