I will say that the pollution in the bay is above average. I don't know why they didn't move the water events to a different area in Brasil. They have tons of great water, just not in the bay.

These Olympics games in Brazil are going to make the shitpot of a presidential election look like a day at the local playground.

If you have you have ever dealt with any business in Brazil you would understand.

Just because Brasil is rife with corruption doesn't mean that the Olympics will be compromised. It is an event. It is not a presidential election. They will have plenty of security.

ETA: I cannot deny that doing business in Brasil is very frustrating. This is why I no longer live there.

am just saying that I have spent many a drunk night in both cities and I feel safer in Rio. The thugs in Rio are more removed from the rest of society. In New Orleans they are crawling all over everywhere.

Calling absolute bullshite

I have some really bad shite On Cocobana beach, especially at night. Thing that made m more comfortable in the om places in Africa that as not friendly to white people.

I have slept on Copacabana beach near Posto 5 from 3am-7am.

Woke up with my wallet and phone in my pocket. Not saying that that is the safest thing to do.

I have been out all night many times in Copa and Lapa.

ETA: And Brasileiros have, for the most part been super nice. And I am Casper white.

I think something will happen. I was just telling my wife last night that they're kind of pushing it in a way.

I didn't anchor. We have a bunch of admins in training. I think they have all failed and will be voted off of the admin island.

I'm doubling down. This Olympics will be great! Orderly, and memorable.

Those who are hoping for disaster will be dissipointed.
