This has been more common since John Georges bought The Advocate from the Manships. I'm not happy that I've been up for almost 2 hours, and haven't been able to solve the puzzles that is my daily routine.

Maybe they realize that everyone else in the world already read everything that's in today's paper yesterday.

They are too busy delivering the teaser papers to non subscribers to get them to pay for a subscription.

People still get the newspaper?

The days of the big fat Sunday paper delivered are gone. The comics suck, the parade magazine is so political and biased.

Read news online.

Maybe someone could put out just the crossword puzzle.

I was running last week and there was a guy delivering papers at 10:45 in my neighborhood. I thought it was kinda late. By that point, a lot of people had already left their houses.

Just go back two days and see what threads were posted on the OT then. You should get most of what's in today's paper from there.

The delivery man probably just got married yesterday, cut him some slack and go find a crossword online.

Your delivery person may have the flu or had a death in the family. Go to a machine and get one in front of your nearest grocery store. Grab one or two papers and give one to your neighbor. Make more coffee and do the puzzles.

I used to come home at 3am after a night out at the bar to find the paper already delivered. I guess it depends on your neighborhood.
