It bothers me when leaders try to make irrelevant groups important.

From F. King Alexander's email today. What happened in Nepal is awful, but trying to make 50 people into an "integral part of our campus community" of 30,000 is unnecessary. Just don't even bother adding that.

You hate being obviously sold on something. Whether you help or not has nothing to do with the 50 people from Nepal at LSU, so that ridiculous attempt to try and make it personal to you just irritates you. I am the exact same way.
