re: It blows my mind that people still smoke cigarettes in 2017

Maybe it's just me, but I can recognize and appreciate the fact that I'm creating a noxious stench that people have a right to not be exposed to, whether it's a legit health risk or not, and do everything I can to avoid doing so.

However, I do have problems with bans being mandated in places like bars where the business owner should be able to decide that issue.

To me, the essence of trashy is acting without any reasonable regard to fellow people, just like driving around booming the shite out of loud music or usual vulgar language in an inappropriate setting.

Americans smoke less than most others in the world. You should go to Austria or France. Jeebus they smoke a shite ton. And the chinese...my word they smoke even more.
