I mean people don't owe their lives to you. If that's your argument then there are certainly all kinds of ways that you could forgo luxuries for the benefit of others. Expecting others to make basic lifestyle decisions and preferences for your benefit or even the benefit of society is a tricky path to decide to start walking down.

Alright alright I'll say it. You boys bitching in here are a bunch of pussies. There's 0 smoking allowed in public places and near the doors. If a grown arse man wants to smoke a cigarette or put a chaw of tobacco in his cheek it's his business. People do shite that is dangerous and not good for their bodies. We can go on and on but at the end of the day you boys can go frick yourself with the crying about what the next man does.

The dangers of second hand smoke are overblown as an excuse to regulate cigarettes. There's lots of everyday stuff that people inhale in comparable small doses that are worse for us that people don't spend a second thought thinking about.

I'm sure you and everyone you know are on the up and up and are all fine upstanding folks, but the smokers and the fatasses who can't control what they eat are who we are spending billions on in medical care.

I'm sorry I look cool and my imported tobacco smells like God's vagina.

No cigarettes in 10 months.

Who's crying? Do whatever you want. All I said is that it blows my mind that someone would make such a shitty life choice

Then why start the thread? Don't try to crawfish now? You're acting like a bigger bitch than you originally appeared to be.

Maybe the answer is to stop governmemt subsidization of health care costs and allow people to make their own choices instead of giving the state even further power to regulate what human beings eat, drink and breathe.

That's literally what the title of my thread is. I simply remarked at how surprising it is that people choose to smoke despite the myriad of negative effects. Try reading the OP again

I'd rather live a good, fun life for 40 years than be a pussy for 80.

One of Eisenhower relatives quit smoking at 90. 3months later was dead. Docs said quitting smoking stressed her system, and if her relatives hadn't demanded she quit(in order to move in with them) she would have lived until her body otherwise reached its natural end

Nicotine is a very tricky substance. I've quit several times over the years, and for good 3 years ago. It still invades my subconscious, even though I have no real desire to smoke.

My grandpa smoked like a 2 stroke Yamaha til he was 96 years old.

Is it healthy? Nah. But who cares what other people do. Not necessarily a death sentence

I guess I should have put a trigger warning in my title. Didn't mean to trigger so many of you
