India just seems to be the place that fricked up shite happens, whether it's people choosing to hold one arm up in the air for decades or 100s of people falling off a ferry and being eaten by crocodiles or bull sharks.

Today we have two stories...

Man Gets Hit By Meteorite and Dies

quote:

"A meteorite fell within the college premises," Jayalalithaa told Reuters, adding that the bus driver "sustained serious injuries and died while on the way to the hospital."

The Times of India reported that three other people were also injured in the blast, which local officials initially suspected was caused by explosives left behind after building work.

A district official, who asked not to be named, told Reuters that, "when no evidence of explosive material was found, we moved to the theory that it might be a meteorite."

3 People Get Mauled By a Leopard...AT SCHOOL

quote:

Three people were mauled when a leopard entered school grounds in the Indian city of Bangalore, leading officials on an all-day mission to subdue the animal.

Surveillance video of Sunday's attack showed the big cat chasing terrified men around the private school's swimming pool, leaping on them and mauling them as they tried to escape.

The 6-year-old male leopard, suspected of straying onto the school grounds from a nearby forest, was eventually tranquilized and taken to a wildlife park for treatment.

I guess it's nice they didn't just kill the leopard and instead took him away for psychological treatment.

I think the lesson here kids is: Don't go to school. It's dangerous.

When you have a big country with a bunch of different climates, with over a billion people, most of them exceedingly poor, with a bunch of different religions and groups that hate each other...

Weird shite is going to go down.

I find India really interesting but I really would not want to go there.

I went one time. It was interesting, but horrible. I will never go back.

I employ a lot of Indians. Although they are not supposed to exist, they will bitch constantly about castes. "Yugal is a Shudra. You cannot seriously expect me to take orders from a Shudra. It is absurd. I will have to quit if you make this happen. The shame will be too great for my parents."

Why? I've been to India plenty of times. If you can avoid getting sick it's pretty awesome.

Just hire Untouchables. They will do anything anyone tells them to do.

It just seems like a hot, filthy, shithole filled with horrendous stenches, Diarrhea and malaria.

Just the perception given from film and TV.
