Do the copelands still do their stuff now that Al is gone?

Any house/neighborhood highlights I should hit in the Nola area?

All of his stuff got donated to Lafrinier park. It's a nice set up they have out there. You can drive through and then get out for refereshments and walk around.

There's a neighborhood off Esplanade between William's and Power. All of the streets are state names. The neighborhood goes all out with the lights.

South side of W. Esplanade, between Roosevelt and Lake Trail. I think Texas St is one of them, but you can't miss it. You'll see it from the opposite side of W. Esplanade.

There's also some nice displays along Robert E Lee.

Neighbor's all got old and started bitching about traffic. Kenner used to have five streets.

(Duke, Massachusets, Alabama and Lake trail and Georgetown) that did a display, now all just have a few lights.

I think Kenner still has a display in a small park. Or maybe it's river town on Williams by the river.

Made me think of a house in Metairie that reminds me of most of the OT.
Dude has a tacky arse house with chain link fence all around it.
His inflatable display this year includes a big santa with a shotgun and camo, another trashy looking santa on a motorcycle, and finally the show stopper..... A big santa that pulls his pantes down every 5 seconds to moon people. The underware has a shite stain in the crack at the top and it says Merry Christmas below that.

I lived on Lake Trail about 20 years ago, and this is correct. Lots of lights on those streets back then, I don't know how much it's changed since Katrina came through.

Lafereniere lights are good, we went last night. Wife and myself were amazed at the trash balls out there. Events like this and Mardi Gras in metry , where do these people come from?!?

Kids are young though, so they had a great time.

I drove by there recently and didn't see it. I did see one house on the corner with W. Esplanade that had the entire house wrapped in thousands of lights like Clark Griswold, but that was it.
