Out of the three above Tulane is more respected nationally for its academics.

Yes, definitely respected.

It's probably a full step behind Vanderbilt and Emory and a half-step behind USC, but it's certainly well-respected nationally.

Yes. It's not as good as Vanderbilt or Emory but it went up a couple of spots to 39 in the latest college rankings.
