Is there any hope for this AP family?

This is a sad, sad story and it's hard to believe that so much crap can be going on in one family.

NATCHEZ, Miss. (AP) — Two Louisiana residents, including a 27-year-old woman from Gonzales, died Sunday in a one-car accident in Mississippi. Mississippi Highway Patrol troopers responded to the wreck on U.S. Highway 61 South of Natchez at 12:24 p.m. Sunday. Adams County Coroner James Lee told The Natchez Democrat the driver, 34-year-old Mika Peoples, of Calhoun, La., was ejected from the vehicle, which ran off the roadway and struck a tree. Lee said a passenger, Shana Leblanc of Gonzales, was thrown into the back seat during the crash. Lee said Peoples was pronounced dead at the scene, and Leblanc was later pronounced dead at the Merit Health Natchez emergency room.

A quick FB search shows that the Gonzales woman who died, Shana Leblanc, is the one who caught flak last week for defending her POS niece who allowed her toddler to eat meth out of her purse.

But this family also includes Shana Leblanc's sister, Ashlynn Litty, who was arrested last week for being an accomplice in a robbery in Baton Rouge that later ended in an 8 hour standoff in Prairieville.

Ashlynn Litty was also arrested in January in Opelousas for possession of meth and in February she was out of jail and according to a FB post, she rolled her car 7 times and broke both her arms. She also has two beautiful kids. SMH.

On the one hand, I can admire Shana for sticking up for her family members but at some point it seems like you are just enabling. You need to cut ties or dish out some tough love. What will the family do without Shana to defend them now? Another sad note, according to FB, she and her girlfriend were traveling from Monroe to AP for her younger sisters baby shower and she was really looking forward to seeing her family.
