My vote is yes. I can't recall the last time I've used them without any issue or delay.

Theres a CVS in Metairie, can't remember the exact one, but that one is on par with what you are talking about.

I used to stop by there on my way home about every other day to pick up random shite Id need on a day to day basis about 3 1/2 years ago and never had a problem.

Run on sentence with too many phrases

eta:
Oh yea, I guess I never actually used the pharmacy there though. So now my post is shite

I don't know if it is or not, but I'll bet the worst is a WALGREEN's.

Yea. I have no issue with the store itself but the pharmacy is terrible.

Why don't you use another pharmacy? There are literally 2 others at that intersection

CVS and RiteAid's hours are often prohibitive for the times we need to pickup and they rarely have the script my wife takes daily in stock.

The Govt/Acadian Walgreens pharmacy is a pretty poor experience. I was waiting for a flu shot there, and I got to listen to a bunch of pissed off customers sitting around bitching about how long it was taking for their scripts to get filled.

I usually use the CVS, some of the staff is nice and they usually have what I need. Haven't gotten a script filled at the walgreens, but the two times I've been there were more than enough. Weird that the cop usually sits at that corner or the rite aid, never the cvs...

The cvs by LSU (next to BWW) has a good pharmacy. Not 24 hrs, but later hours and good staff. For one of the few 24 hour pharmacies, I don't know why that walgreens is so poorly staffed.

If your wife takes something daily ask your doctor to make the prescription for 90 days which means only dealing with them every three months. I take thyroid medicine and changed mine to that. Just more efficient.

It's pretty bad all around. From the entrance into the lot being a difficult turn for lots of folks to checkout. Diapers in the lot, panhandlers, long wait lines, shite in the aisles, exits from the lot, undesirable fellow shoppers. It's bad.

Cvs across the street is better but not much.

"Wallgreens"

Maybe they're treating you like shite cause you misspell their name?

Sounds like you frequent the place almost as often as I do.

The only think I'd add is the staff is actually for the most part genuinely friendly and helpful. The store itself is clean and well run ( if you avoid that fiasco at the pharmacy itself).
