Just makes me so mad because people who answer honestly will be denied help and people who lie will get the red carpet rolled out to them.
I read that you can get disaster unemployment benefits if you were "planning to begin self employment". I bet every person in NBR will claim they were planning to start selling CDs but can't now. Every claim coming from Ms. Banks' area needs to be investigated.

I started the thread because a public official in my City-Parish is openly encouraging her constituents to lie to FEMA when filing a claim for disaster assistance.
Her race has nothing to do with this.

How can you lie about this? Anyone who lies to get more money from FEMA should go to jail. Not sure how say this, but if you even consider this you truly are a second class citizen in my opinion...not that you GAF.
