Most repugnant post I’ve read in a long time.

Being a drug addict is a life style. Living on the streets and scrounging and stealing what you can just to get the next high is a lifestyle. Mentally healthy, well adjusted people don't live like a drug addict. A drug addict has adopted destructive habits and lifestyle decisions that started way before they hit rock bottom. I think you're too close to your addiction to see it.

100% agree. His posts read exactly like the recent heartbreaking spiral downward of a close family member of mine.

Yes, it's not possible to do two grams for two years and not be addicted.

i've been doing drugs off and on since i was 23. i'm 34. shite I've done Heroin before and am not addicted. I don't like opiates like that. in fact i hate them honestly. again,k it dpeneds on the person. i like stimulants, and even that, i was addicted to crack, i'm not addicted to ice or coke or addarall, etd it depends on the person. of all the hard drugs out there, ice / meth is the.. it grabs you the least. the high isn't as intense or strong as Heroin or crack but it last much longer. of all the hard drugs, ice is the one i would be least cocerned about with ice more than anything it's the lifestyle moroe than the drug itself.

Oh, you've got a whole 10 years of addiction behind you? I’ve got 16.

You have no idea what you’re talking about, and shouldn’t be giving advice like that to a person considering doing hard drugs. I’ve done meth or “ice” or whatever you want to call it, and next thing I knew I was on a binge... and I don’t even like stimulants.

Never advise someone to try a hard drug.

Do addicts walk around feeling anxious & grinding their teeth all day while being unable to sleep?

The initial effect is euphoric with an unbelievably high energy level but you start trying to maintain that and the nervous/fidgety effects take over. Then somewhere around the 24-36 hour mark the sleep deprivation kicks in and puts you in a loopy dreamlike state. Some people really love that part but I really hated it. You can feel yourself getting dumber by the minute. Its possible to use it as a tool the way people use adderol or coffee but it ends badly pretty often. But you certainly don't get addicted from a single line or even a single 3 day binge.
