Because I tried to order it twice in BR this weekend and it wasn't on the menu. What is that about?

It's not a Louisiana thing anywhere like it is in Mississippi.

Plenty of places don't have sweet tea. They have sugar and sugar substitute on the tables. I assume they had unsweet. I've never been to a restaurant without unsweet tea.

It seems I get this more in Ms, Al and Ga - can't recall Fl. It seems La maybe not as much but it does remind me that I'm home in the south..

I wouldn't consider Louisiana a southern state like I would a South Carlolina, Georgia or Alabama.

Eventually I'm going to teach myself to stop asking for sweet tea when in New Orleans.

Diabeetus juice really isn't that popular in Louisiana; then again, we also don't think chicken fried steak is the pinnacle of man's culinary achievement, either.

It really kinda sucks. Oh you dumped seven metric tons of sugar into a pitcher of ice tea? What a staple of a proper meal
