I went ahead and "erased" the entire phone with the find my iphone app. Can this TPOS still be able to access my data, credit card information and most importantly pics that should not be seen by anyone except the misses and I.

I can't get a clear answer from Sprint customer service reps about this issue.

FYI, I filed a police report and tracked the phone to a Hotel off Canal street.

Mine got stolen 2 weeks ago and the people at ATT said they could lock it so no one could access my info. I'm sure sprint should be able to do something similar.

Good luck

Yes they said it's locked and will not be able to access.

I'm just concerned about all the pictures I have on there. A long with credit card information that is in my notes.

i don't think they can unless they're like a master hacker or something.. but the thing is.. i believe since you erased to phone.. you wont be able to track it now. can you still track it?

the erase my iphone feature brings the phone back to factory condition, so if he decides to make his own account on your phone it would be his cloud account and you wouldn't be able to track it anymore.

Cancel your credit cards, it's not worth the risk.

No, whoever stole it turned it off.

NOPD pretty much laughed at me after I screenshot the location from the tracker.

Yea it's a shitty situation. I just got back from Europe for a month so I lost all the pics I took.

Yeah, sadly you could know exactly where the thief is with the phone tracker and the police won't care at all.

I would just feel better knowing that all my data and pics will be erased.

I hate having to drop an unnecessary $550 on a new phone.

I just got the 5c with my upgrade before I went to London in February.

I lost so many fricking picture that I took.

On top of all this I can't figure out if they were backed up with my iCloud. I'm calling Apple tomorrow to walk me through how the cloud actually works.
