inspirational sayings for someone going through a rough timePosted by TexasTiger05 on 10/15/10 at 2:57 pm
If you post Footprints you'll be dead to me.
I normally don't like stuff like this, but I know someone who does and they're going through a pretty rough time right now. I figured some kind of story/saying/quote that's inspirational would be good to send them.

"Life is a 50-50 wash. Light and dark, hot and cold, truth and lies, good and evil. One can not exist,or be truly appreciated without the other. Sometimes, you find pure joy somewhere in the middle. Sometimes not. It's the search that keeps us going. Keep focused on the Light."

I just put everything into context. Life always gets better, the sun always comes up, except for sometimes in alaska, but i digress. Time heals all. There are two ways to live life. A) You can sit on your arse and mope and groan. or B) You can get up move on with your life and have an awesome life. Worrying about shite gets you no where. This is just me, but im a pretty up beat kinda guy.
If they did just lose someone, you definitely need to give time for grief.

this poem is a nice palette cleanser. it fills me pleasant feelings:
Gift by Czeslaw Milosz
A day so happy. Fog lifted early, I worked in the garden. Hummingbirds were stopping over honeysuckle flowers. There was no thing on earth I wanted to possess. I knew no one worth envying him. Whatever evil I had suffered, I forgot. To think that once I was the same man did not embarrass me. In my body I felt no pain. When straightening up, I saw the blue sea and sails.
