Incredible Bodycam Footage From Charlotte Police-Involved Shooting Shows Behind The Scenes

In March, a Charlotte police officer was dispatched to a call where he was met by a mentally ill Russian at the door. You can immediately hear the officer's partner yell "gun, gun gun" at the beginning of the video before they both haul arse for cover. The dipshit comes out with a rifle, aims it, and with one incredible shot, the cop wearing the bodycam drops his arse.
The bodycam then keeps rolling as they secure the scene, give aid to the guy shot, and then you can even hear the cop call his wife and explain what happened towards the very end.
For anyone who is interested in seeing what happens at a scene like this and what the officer involved goes through, this is a great watch.
Timeline:
0:04 - "Gun, gun, gun!"
0:18 - Cop drops his arse with one shot from behind the cruiser.
0:25 - 5:00 - His dumbass family member keeps screaming in the most annoying Russian accent.
5:00 - 6:00 - Clearing the house.
6:00 - 8:35 - Bullshitting with other officers.
8:38 - end: Telling wife he had to shoot somebody and he was going to be a while.

I used to be the same way. Grew up hunting and fishing and never cared to learn to shoot a pistol. I can't stress enough to get out and learn to shoot your pistol and become proficient with it. It will probably be the gun that saves your life one day if needed.

Gun would have jammed, big hunk of a bullet wouldn't have made it that far, perp would have shot back and killed the officer
The bad guy looked farther than he actually was, but that was still a damn good ways to be pulling off a one shot drop with a damn pistol on a guy that had a rifle. Step one for me would have been hood slide over the cruiser and get the rifle out because I'd know that if I had to depend on that pistol I'd be fricked. It would have taken me 10 shots to hit that dude.
ETA: I think I counted 16 steps from the driveway to the back of the car which is probably about 20 yards running like that for an average dude. That's a long arse shot for that situation. That cop probably has combat experience based off of how calmly he handled it all the way through.
