My Family are in New Orleans from 10am on for today and I was curious if we could get enough out of the ww2 museum to make it worth the price of admission?

What say the OT?

It's fantastic, and you could easily spend the whole day there.

You should be fine to see a lot. I did about a 5 or 6 hhour tour and felt it was worth the price. I was ready to go at the end of that even though I'm sure I missed some things.

Definitely give it a shot, it's very very enjoyable

Thanks then we will go. I've been wanting to go for a while since I am a huge WW2 history buff.

Sometimes they'll have WW2 vets speaking there and telling stories and they're awesome to hear and easily my favorite part of the tour. They're a treasure that's rapidly fading, meet them while you still can and you might considering its the weekend.

Have fun.

I have been hesitant to go. Is it really upsetting and graphic?

How would you NOT be able to do it in a day?

Yes, went 3 weeks ago on a sunday.

Awesome, and no way you will see it all in one day.

Dont miss the Beyond all Boundaries movie or the Boeing Pavilion.

No, but it ain't Disney, either.

Hundreds of thousands (millions?) of people died. There's more than a few pictures of dead folks.

I felt like is was running to just lay eyes on everything in a day. I'm one who has to read every single plaque. It was an awesome museum and will go back when the pacific venue is open. I would need a week to view at the level I like.

Just went yesterday. You can pretty much hit everything in a day if you don't feel the need to read everything. I was getting a little information overload by the end.

Get tickets to Beyond All Boundaries. 4D show summarizing America's entry and involvement in the war. Nice experience.

In a year or two they're going to have several more exhibits. It's going to be an impressive little campus

It's a good museum; could use more artifacts and more "experiences". Probably don't have the budget for the experiences.
A lot of the stuff are stories and films like you can catch on the military channel.
