While I think there are more serious things to deal with in NOLA, I see both sides of the issue.

A.) This is incredibly stupid.
B.) I don't see Mitch getting a fourth of this done before he gets term-limited.

Yeah... That would be the spark that ignites the fire. Try taking down that statue and it won't be pretty.

I think you overestimate the IQ of the people that elected him.
They'll elect another stooge to do the bidding of the fickle mob.

Those who do not know their history are doomed to repeat it....

Every single one of the things on that list are insane... But the fricking wwi memorial?
That's just absolutely depressing and sad.

Isn't Jackson on a piece of private property anyway? What needs to happen is someone comes along and makes replica statues of Lee/Beauregard/Davis to sell in the New Orleans. What better middle finger to this a-hole is to stick those in your front yard.

If they ever add milk to this list, I'll die fighting for the liberation of the liquid I put in my bowls of cereal.

Remember, this is the same MENSA populace that re--elected C. Ray after he shite the bed post Katrina.
Look how well that went for them.
