While I think there are more serious things to deal with in NOLA, I see both sides of the issue.

Isn't Jackson on a piece of private property anyway? What needs to happen is someone comes along and makes replica statues of Lee/Beauregard/Davis to sell in the New Orleans. What better middle finger to this a-hole is to stick those in your front yard.
