Yeah, a 1,000 mile sphere of water is stupid big...

Is there symbolism to hover the sphere of water over the Western deserts of the US, where water is scarce?

Just did the maths, that big sphere would be closer to 600 miles across...
Filled with roughly 300 million cubic miles of water...

So, how us that little thing going to spread and fill all those oceans? I think it's too small if you ask me.
Trump will fix this for sure!

Am I the only one that doesn't get it?

Are there dimensions provided for these spheres to account for scale? Quick math makes these seem very far off

looks very accurate to me

What points of reference did you use for point of scale geographically? I'm not insinuating you're wrong I'm just curious so if I'm wrong I can learn more to calculate more accurately

Yeah, the big sphere looks twice as large as it should be

average distance from west coast to east coast is around 3000 miles.
sphere looks to be roughly 1000 miles(which is probably a low estimate)
average depth of ocean is 12,000 feet, a little over 2 miles.
