That's the dumbest form of protest, and it is not civil disobedience.
Civil disobedience is doing what MLK, Jr.and Gandhi did. It makes people who once had their head in the sand say, "Hey, will you just leave those people alone already? You're coming off as a total a-hole."
That's how you create change, people.
Besides, the stuff they are protesting about today doesn't make much sense.

Yes, if at any point some dumbass hits your vehicle or in anyway threatens you so that you feel as though staying their risks your life. Essentially, the LEO defense.
Yes...if you mean to say continue to move slowly and literally force them to move or decide on their own to be run over. They have no right to stand there, and you have no obligation to ensure they're safe in doing so once you start to move slowly. That's one them.

I think if you pull up to them slowly, and they choose not to get out of the way after a horn honk, then they are fair game.
If I blocked them from getting into their job at Starbucks, I'd expect to be arrested. And if they shoved me out of the way, what grounds would I have to stand on? ( Pun intended)

100% absolutely yes. If someone is dumb enough to shut down a road it should be legal to drive through them.
