Do?

If an un-named and unseen task force began slaughtering sex offenders, drug dealers, murderers who walk on technicalities etc, what would happen??

They would be branded as terrorists, especially when they murdered an 18 year old guy who dated a sophomore in highschool

hopefully nothing.

funny topic because my dad has been talking about this for years. he would love for some armed badasses walk around nola looking like drunk preys and just unload on the thugs that attack and rob them.

death wish style

for real though, i think the police would do a 'bad job' on finding people that are out there doing the dirty work of cleaning up the city

I feel like if u acted alone and stayed out of the spot light you could get away with it if you knew the right people on your local police squad

there is now way you could be in any spotlight. police couldnt cover that up for long.

they would just have to report them as regular gang killings or something like that where they dont solve it.

i guess

Dirty Harry tried that......or was it the SFPDVigilantes that tried that?I get confused on those 70s fantasy flicks.

Look up a group called La Sombra Negra. Pretty much the South American equivalent of what you're talking about

No - Harry had to stop the vigilante cops in Magnum Force - that was Hutch, Otter and Dan Tanna that were the SFPD vigilantes in that film.

Although Hal Holbrook was their boss (and he did some vigilante shite as a judge in Star Chamber, too.)

The problem with vigilante justice is, it has no code.

People would freak out. Most vigilantes are villains themselves.
