China Town is awesome.

haven't been to SF in a LONG time, but i'd recommend Chinatown...

Seriously. I love when someone says they have a night in a city, and the answers are sunsets, drives, and the most touristy spot in the city that will take the entire time.

Ryoko's on Taylor St in Union Square. Go bar hop on Chestnut Street in the Marina District. You are welcome.

Castro Street. It's named after Fidel Castro and is just a haven of cigars. Big fat cigars.

Any must see places or restaurants?.

GRTiger! Those are some amazing interpretive abilities that you think you have!
I read the OP's message as, "Any must see places or restaurants."
SF has some great restaurants, but so do some other cities. However, no other city has the GGB or the unique scenic vistas SF has.
If you're in SF, you owe it to yourself to get to a place where you can take in the view of one of the most spectacular cityscapes in the world.

Drove through the Castro district around 4 pm today and saw a guy wearing only a cowboy hat and a gold cod-piece.

It would've helped if the OP had said where he was staying. Wonder where he wound up.
FYI for those looking for a good place to stay when visiting SF: try the hotels along Lombard leading up to the Presidio. If you can't get a pricey b&b somewhere, these places are great, especially for the $. I recently stayed at the TravelLodge across from the entrance to the Presidio and couldn't have been happier: super location, great neighborhood, reasonable price and FREE PARKING. You won't be disappointed.
