I hate people who dump dogs out Edited: Status of puppies

Just read about a female pit with puppies dumped in Bossier - she was eating deer bones while her pups were being pecked and eaten by birds. Thankfully, she's going to be ok (Bossier City Animal Shelter). The puppies were killed by birds, as the mother was too weak to defend them.
I'm not a big fan of pits, but I'm sure as hell not a fan of the cowards that dump them out. Don't get a dog thinking it will make you cool or a badass.
The dog is doing great and already has a home.

Couldn't agree more. Dog deserves better. Main reason I have started getting rescue dogs only for pets.

Seriously, Ill piss some diehards off here, but I really wish breeders would quit. Why people pay hundreds or thousands for a particular breed when muts are truly the best? I've have and had many dogs in my life and the most even tempered and best dogs are the mixed breeds. The pure breeds I've had were more temperamental. I have never bought a dog from a breeder. I have fostered puppies.
If the people who want dogs would just get a shelter dog a lot of problems would be solved.
And most importantly, frick those who toss pets away, as if they're trash.
