So, this little Wrassehole has been terrorizing any new fish I put in my tank. It's small but a terror to mainly my Clownfish. He keeps them in the upper water column and does not let them come down at all.
I made a trap out of a water bottle cut in half with the top pushed in backwards baited with Mysis Shrimp. I attached a cable to the bottle. He swam in 15 minutes after baiting the bottle and I got his little arse.

He's now punished to the sump. Anyone want a little Wrassehole?

That's his little frickin arse in the center bottom before I caught him.

You cannot catch them with a net. Trust me. I tried. He would have made me destroy all my corals and live rock to catch him. Very smart and fast fish.

I can't help imagining you like this.

How big is that tank? Are your only corals a frogspawn and star polyps?

Dude, I was crouching down behind a door with the cable in my hand. When that little frick swam in the second time I damn near pulled half the water in the tank with the bottle.

You just don't know how hard the little bastid was to catch. I've been trying for almost a week.

There was a much more entertaining way to go about this.

Get a bigger predatory fish and keep him separate from the tank and dont feed him for awhile.

Net all the other fish then put in predator fish and watch the fun.

As an OBer you should have thought of this.

It's an Oceanic 59 rimless. And yes, those are the only corals I have in it so far. I had a bubble anoneme but it died like 3 days after putting it in the tank.
I plan on some more soft corals.
I also have a small Pulsating Xenia.

The pulsating Xenia will overtake your tank with swiftness. Keep an eye on it. Is the tank well established? I'm wondering why the bubble tip died so fast. It shouldn't have anything to do with putting other corals in it. I have a 5 gallon in my office and the bubble tip has been doing great for over a year.

I love mine! I've had very well mannered wrasse but poor luck keeping them healthy. Coral do well, fish don't. :(

This thread is giving me too much entertainment. Think I'm just in a goody mood.
