Had a dream the other night where a cousin and I went to my grandparents house to check on them because we hadn't heard from them in a while. We enter the house and find my grandparents beaten and bloodied. They are still alive, and my grandmother points ominously towards the bathroom. I take this as meaning the intruder is still there so I go to investigate. Sure enough I find him in there with a baseball bat and we get in a fight. As we are going at it I call my cousins name to come help. Almost instantly I enter this semi-awake state where I can't move and I can hear myslef mumbling my cousins name. It maybe lasted for 15 seconds but felt like an eternity. I snapped out of it and couldn't go back to sleep for about an hour. I had this intense feel of fear going through my entire body.

Every morning when I wake up I can't move a muscle. But magically I can move whenever my wife brings me breakfast in bed.

It's so weird.

Uh, I mean you might've.

Every time I've had it though I was just awake in my own bed. Couldn't move, couldn't breathe, etc..

It's literally just your eyes waking up before the rest of your body, but it sucks.

I've experienced sleep paralysis for years.. if it continues, you will get used to it and learn how to fully wake yourself.. No doubt it's an odd sensation that is scary when it first occurs or for me when it occurs after a long hiatus.

Best hope that's a one-off for you. Had SP since I was 6 or 7 that hasn't gone away. Once you master the extraterrestrial fear they try to impose on you, they will adapt to your defenses & step it up a notch.

These days I'm getting SP wrapped inside my SP. (SP inside dream then more SP when I break out of it, wake up & have to start over struggling again). Demons are ruthless vatos.

I thought a ghost / entity had me. I'll stick to my guns just for it being a better sounding story.

I love/hate sleep paralysis. It's creepy when you see shite move in the dark in your room. I have had it where I thought someone was breaking in ,grab my gun, and shoot. I move my body around a bit and force myself to wake up and realize my head is on the pillow.

The worst was during spring break one year. I had thought I woke up in the middle of the night to have secks but then I realized that the buzz in my head wasn't a hangover but sleep paralysis.

Daily I have penis paralysis. Luckily I get about 3 good erections a year and look forward to feverishly whipping it in the absence of any chance for snatch...... I count my blessings!

Yea I get it occasionally and it sucks. It's not so bad once you know what it is, but that first time scared the shite out of me. I was staining so hard to move, but just couldn't move a muscle. Then I see this shadow figure and it sits on the edge of my bed. It was pretty terrifying.

She's alive a well. Has dimentia, but is other wise healthy. Crazy thing is, my grandfather died two years ago.
