There are a lot of "hipsters" in New Orleans, but if they come into the city and spend money.. Then god bless em.. They can take any political stance they want.
Some of yall need to let all the political bullshite stop blinding yall. This is still America, people can show support for whatever ideology they want.. They tax dollars they generate are just as good as anyone else's.

I lived in NOLA for 30 years. The city went from a nice place to a 3rd world shite hole, almost overnight.
