Complete Standstill is the default state of I-10 anywhere near Baton Rouge.

Im a couple miles past Whisky Bay exit on the Lafayette side, and its stopped as far as i can see

They really need to start offering direct LFT to BTR flights.

LFT->IAH->BTR may still be quicker than I10.

I was stuck about 100 yards behind the wreck. Got through after a little more than an hour

No, what they really need to do is push the wrecked cars and the drivers into the basin and reopen the roads.

I bet people wouldn't drive like assholes after the basin killed the first two or three while the rest of us went on about our lives.
