Hypothetical for Ladies of the OT (and anyone else)

Let's say you meet an attractive man. He's in your desired age range. He is fit, has a good sense of humor, is a pleasant fellow, etc.
Then out of the corner of your eye you catch a glimpse of his lower leg and see plastic or metal where there should be skin and realize this guy has a prosthetic foot.
Does this change things for you? Is he no longer attractive? Does he go from being the man of your dreams to only being 7/8th the man of your dreams and you just don't want to deal with that?
What about for guys in the opposite scenario?

It'd take some getting used to. I mean, like, have you seen that surfer chick who lost an arm to a shark? She's fricking beautiful, but … it'd just feel weird to have her nub rubbing against you while you're screwing. Can't deny that.

As long as she had everything else I was looking for in a woman, it wouldn't be a turn off.
But she'd have to keep the prosthetic on while we're sleeping. If the nudge of her nub woke me up in the middle of the night, I'd be pretty damned freaked out.

I wonder if guys are more practical about this. Cynical, even. As in, well the parts I care about are still there, so the hell with it.
Less certain about the female reaction, not least because of the reason for the thread. I know a young lady, mid 20's, nice girl, and she was infatuated with a guy as I've described. Limited interaction with him but it was all positive. Then she sees the foot after seeing him maybe 10 times before that. Now she has lost interest. Can't get past it.
Worst part about it to me is that according to her, this prosthetic was from a combat injury sustained in a rescue mission.

It's kind of shallow, but people write others off for all kinds of shallow reasons; they don't like short hair on women, they don't like their teeth, not skinny enough, he's bald. If it's a deal breaker, then it's a deal breaker.
