Hundreds of ancient stone structures found on edge of volcanoes in Saudi Arabia

The structures themselves date back thousands of years. Does this mean that Scientology has been vindicated?

He adds that they "appear to be the oldest man-made structures in the landscape,” and that "no obvious explanation of their purpose can be discerned”.

Simplest answer may be best guess. The ancient civilization might have been trying to control lava, or perhaps they built a structure to perform rites near the volcano.
