Long story. I was hospitalized an an infectious disease ward (and about to be put in short term quarantine). I was a public health risk I guess and they were investigating everything in my medical history and interviewing everyone I was around. I was not in a position of knowing wtf was going on so I can't really offer much insight.

Are we talking about STDs here or ebola?

HPV is linked to throat cancer, among others.

Know your partner and be careful.

There is an extremely high chance your partner has had contact with HPV if he has had more than about 4 partners. Prophylactics do nothing against that BTW.

If you are single and older than the age of 25, there is almost a 100% shot you have it or at least have been exposed. The HPV vaccine is damn near as dangerous as HPV itself is, too (this coming from someone who is strongly pro-vaxx).

It was a relatively rare bacterial blood infection. But the doctors thought the shape of the bacteriums in the blood looked like STs bacteria. Except maybe they should have figured that most stds don't rip apart your body within days. That was just one of several kis diagnosis from that hospital while there. But they eventually cured me." So I guess I can't complain. It's just not fun waking upon a disoriented state with a male nurse pulling your boxers down to do a surprise swab.

I have been building up my natural antibodies over the years by not getting immunizations. That combined with sheer luck has kept me clean

Also, wash your shite off and take a leak after you raw dog a questionable chick. Can never be too careful

i got chlamydia from someone over the years. (cureable with pills, no big deal) Neither me or my wife ever showed any symptoms, only found out through blood work when she got preg 4 years ago. Lots of internet hook ups between 2000-2010 but i grew up in a college town right when Myspace and facebook were starting up, too easy to pass up. that being said.... side story time.

2006. one of the chicks i was seeing on the regular's friend stopped by to " wait for her til she got off work", kept sprawling out on the couch giving me looks. If I were total scum I would've definitely taken the easy poon. About 2 months later the chick tells me the friend found out she had AIDs, and she had a black book of about 200 guys she had to go tell about it. I had never been more thankful for my morals, however limited they may be.

I think its a giant fricking game, and its hilarious/shocking when people get so puzzled by the terrible outcomes.

Wait, there's a terrible outcome to casual sex? Since when? I'm never going to break a thousand worrying about building "strong foundations".

Hooked up with a girl last week. As I'm reaching for my condoms, she says, "Oh, it's ok, I'm on the pill." I put one on anyway.

I'm pretty sure he meant he has been married 20 years not a 20 year old.

What's crazy to me about the kids today-

They all have $100 phone cases for a iPhone they'll only have for 24 months, but they won't spend $.50 on a condom for a pecker they'll have for life.

Maybe Lifeproof needs to make a $100 condom.
