How to fix slow draining shower

Drano and liquid plumber aren't working. Shower drains, but very very slowly. We're ankle deep at the end of a shower. What's the next move without calling a plumber. Going to stick one of those zip tie things in it next, but that didn't help last time.

Rent a Roto Rooter....then tell your wife to shave that hairy bush, but not in the shower

Cram as much baking soda as you can in the drain. Then pour vinegar in. Let it sit for a half hour and then pour boiling hot water down the drain.

Go to Home Depot and get one of these. They are cheap.
Remove drain cover and snake this thing as far as you can get it to go. If you hit something, apply a little pressure and crank it. Some come with a drill bit that you can attach to a drill.

Does the wife have long hair? If so put on of those things down the drain that grabs the hairball. Have fun - it's nasty as frick.

Try a half box of baking soda with 2 cups of vinegar.
Let it soak over night and then flush with hot water in the morning.

You married to/dating cousin it?
Try unscrewing the grate and pulling the hair out with a coat hanger.

I've got one of those plumber fishing tape things. I've tried this all before (this is the second time it's become an issue). None of it worked in the past. Just want to get a list of things to try today.
My wife sheds hair like crazy. So I assume that's what this is from. I end up getting some hair gunk out, but not a lot. And it's still slow. Yet the tub next to it never has issues.
I'd rather just continue taking showers in ankle deep water/jazz.

How old is your house?
If it's an old house, make sure you don't have a drum trap or barrel trap running off the drain.
Typically p-traps will get mucked up but can be cleared by conventional methods (you've already tried).
If it is a drum trap, you will need to replace it with a conventional p trap.
We battled a slow drum trap for years before we finally said frick it and called a plumber to replace. It was well worth the $200.

yep, i've had to do the same thing. probably went through 5 bottles of drano. stuck this thing in a few times and it completely cleared whatever was clogging it

snake the line and you will be amazed at what comes out of there. Also if you have a clean out on the out side of your house you can snake it from both sides to make sure you get the clog out. Our master bathroom toilet was flushing very slow. I had used the plunger and changed out all of flushing mechanism to no avail. I bought a snake and ran it through and pulled out a rather large Chewbacca hairball and showing it to my wife. She tried to blame me for it even though a have a crew cut.
