Does anybody have any suggestions to get me to eat. Yesterday, I had half a hamburger and three spoonfuls of a bowl of cereal.
Losing your appetite while you're down for a few days isn't really anything to worry about. This becomes an issue if it continues to linger about and if that happens you need to get some professional help. But it would help to know what kinds of foods you like. As for general recommendations:
Soups and even just broth
Even if you're not hungry fruit is usually easy to get down
Maybe build up to light sandwiches, a grilled cheese or something
Try to avoid junk food, you're not in a starvation situation yet so it's still important to try to control the quality of food intake as much as you can.
Jello and pudding
Basic salads with lite dressings like an Italian or vinaigrette
Even loaves of bread or some rolls, toast
Don't worry yourself too much with forcing yourself into eating, from what you posted in the OP you're not at a stage where that's a legitimate concern yet. Just try to to get something in your system each day and slowly increase your intake as you're able.
It's also helpful to know your body stats. A loss of appetite isn't as serious of an issue for someone with a healthy weight, or overweight especially, but if you're already considerably thin then it's definitely something you need to monitor.
