The bride and groom are gentiles. No jews here.

And they are having an out of town wedding. About 75% of the attendees have to travel to it.

I find this to be quite selfish as you are forcing everyone to take a vacation day, and its really pissing me off.

The only upside is the rehearsal dinner to which all out of town guests are invited is at flemings. I will make sure to make the parents pay through the nose on that dinner.

what are you experiences with sunday night weddings? Are they worse than friday night weddings? Worse than a wedding during LSU-bama?

What's the reception situation? Open bar? Because Monday morning hangovers do suck.

it's actually way more selfish for you to bitch about it…I sure hope you didn't make a passing comment to the bride and groom.

i have never met the bride and have not talked to the groom in 6 years. I doubt I will say a word to them but "congratulations"

I would blow it off, but my father is twisting my arm to attend.

I've never heard of a Sunday night wedding, but it's actually pretty thoughtful, because it gives me a convenient excuse not to go.

I'd love to go to a Sunday wedding compared to what a couple of friends told me their plan was a few weeks back. They want to have a wedding cruise for 7 days right smack dab in the middle of October.

Like WTF is wrong with them expecting people to all book a fricking week long cruise to be at their wedding? Why the hell can't they get married and THEN go on the cruise?

Fortunately my SO is on board with saying screw that we ain't using half our vacation time right before the damn holidays.
