I'm at a watering hole and there is a couple a couple tables over. Before they get up to leave they MUG down. Obviously they are both divorced and on a date or each other's side piece. People who've been married a while kiss of course but only mug when it's time for pound-town.

Now, these guys were in there mid 50's. I am 44 and lord forbid I were single again, but if I were, and dating again I would feel ridiculous tongue wrestling in front of people at a bar.

Congrats and tip of the cap to the ole Baw for the secks. But I still pose this question to the OT. With age comes discretion, no?

I'd say anything over about 16 years old is too old....as they say, act like you have been there.

Oops

Blank post.

"Mug it up" was the 1990's SETX and SWLA term for kissing like high schoolers or making out shamelessly.

I mean, I think we all got that from the context clues. But I've literally never heard mug used to mean make out. You had weird friends.

I never heard someone use "mug" to describe a couple overly showing their affection in public.

People can get "mugged" or someone can "mug" someone as in robbing them, but it was also always used when you push someone behind the head.

Ask a reasonable question that could lead to reasonable discussion. Use stupid word that's sure to derail a topic.

Noob mistake.

Local water hole. Mug. I thought you were referring to flipping their empty mug upside down as some sort of mating call or soemhing.
