A little inspiration for you(she likes it clean)

I wash mine 7-8 times a year. I just don't have the time and driving 40k a year I would have to wash it daily to keep it clean.

Damn I want a Hellcat

Wash twice a week, wax once every 2 weeks.

I take pride in mine.

Get a monthly pass to a drive through. We some here that are actually decent and don't swirl the paint too bad. I drive through just about everyday. Takes 2 minutes unless there's a line.

Once a week if I have time.... Mainly due to brake dust on the rims. Stupid Germans.

Just got a new car so I'll probably do it every other week or whenever I'm by Toyota.

When I first got it once a month. Now once every 3-4 months. Always by hand to avoid swirls. Only about 6 more payments and then its trade up time

ETA: 12' Elantra with 36k miles. Want something bigger, should I go Sonata or Santa Fe?

Used to wash once a week or every two weeks...usually about once a month or two now with a full detail twice a year.

The frick? You must live the harshest weather environment on the planet.

3-4 times a year is ideal. You're simply overdoing it boss. Hope you use a wax without abrasives.

I like to shine.

It's actually a pet peeve of mine for it not to, or to have a layer of dust. Keep in mind I'm working with mirror black.

Sometimes I bring it to a place and let the brothas do it, sometimes I will myself. Listen to some musoc, fire one up and take some me time away from everyone else.

Waxing 26 times a year isn't helping anything.

You do realize you're talking about a car, right? Not going to have much free time if you can't handle dust.

Changes nothing.

I use this on my black Toyota Highlander in between waxes, and after a wash:

Turtle Wax T-319 Black Spray Detailer - 23 oz.

Many folks will only use: Meguiar's Quik Detailer instead.
