How often do married couples have sex?

Was talking to a buddy of mine (30 years old - married for 3 years now) who said he gets it about once a week or so, "if that."

I'd say that 1x/wk is about average for a married couple with young kids

Twice a week minimum. Usually every other day. Married longer than him.

3-4 times a week now, bit we are currently expecting our first child. I hear it drops off some after that. Married 2ish years.

This is what I figured was the norm. Especially after being married for awhile.
Been with my fiance almost 5 years and we're getting married in a month. We live together and sex about 3-4 times a week but I figured no one keeps up that pace, especially after 15-20 years. We're also really busy - wake up early/work late. I can't imagine what it would be like with kids.

Been married 16 years and have sex whenever I want. That normally works out to 2 or 3 times a week but every now and then I get a big energy boast and go for 4.

Average 3-4 times a week since my baby was born 7 months ago. 5-6 before the baby, not counting while we were trying. That was at least once a day for 3 months
ETA: the OT really seems to not be a fan of marriages that involve sex. No wonder you people are so miserable most of the time.
