I didn't ask for the price, didn't care. But judging by the size of it I'd probably say $250,000-$400,000

All depends on your financial situation. You are an idiot if you take out a loan or believe the 2-3 month salary thing. Spend what you can afford. Most of the people I know including myself spent between $5k-$12k.
