I call a few weeks before my renewal and say I want to cancel but I cave in after their initial retention offer - today it was a year for $99. Am I a pushover?

I just tried moving my lifetime to my third vehichle. They were trying to say I've used up all transfers. Which is impossible since I bought it in 2006 and only transferred once so far. fricking crooks. Took an hour bitching for them to say "there was a mistake on our end". Don't offer something if you don't want to honor it.

Does this include streaming? I let my trial laps and I get notices from them all the time while I miss it I am not paying the asking price that includes streaming.

I bought a lifetime back in like 2003? $400 and it's paid for itself 100x over. I mainly just you the app on my phone/tablet and my wife's phone. Only one person can be on at a time though. It will kick you off if someone else tries to log into the app.

Go ahead and cancel. In a few weeks you'll get an offer for 5 months for $20

I bought a portable unit a couple of years ago and LOVE it. I'm a truck driver and switch rigs frequently, so all I need is the aux plug. Bought one of the mirror mount clamped antennas as well - only time it lost signals was the tunnels up in the northeast and the caves in Missouri.

Tunnels suck for it up north.

No need to cancel, just ask what deals they have available. They've always given me whatever deal they'd give to new subscribers (whenever I remember to call and ask).

I've done that even after they had already charged me for a year and reimbursed me the difference.

^^^this. last time mine was up, I called to cancel. They offered 1 year for $99, I declined. Then they offered $19 for 5 months, then I accepted.
