I rarely wear it, if I do I do the squirt in the air and walk through it.... so you can smell it if close but not overpowering

I have some Code Black and a few others the S/O has bought me... I don't think I've bought a bottle for myself since back in the day when A&F cologne was popular

You don't want to smell like a French whore. I go one spray to the side so that it doesn't all get on me.
