there will be a new continually misused word here in a few months.

wasn't long ago this board was obsessed with calling people betas and hipsters.

My grandpappy would have slapped the shite out of me for saying something so dumb.

But my grandpappy was in WWII.

Yours?

How many of you baby boomers can afford the debt you're leaving us millennials?

Not many, I'd wager.

Not a boomer, yo. I'm an Xer, the generation that's holding the country together between two fricked up demographic cohorts.

My grandfather was in WWI.

He left me saws due to he cut his own trees and milled them himself when he built houses. Let me a lot of nice old hand tools to do woodwork with, wagons, and equipment for mules to work with to haul trees to mill.

He went through the depression he would give you his time, knowledge, and wisdom that was it. Very tight with his money and said always pay cash for what you want he did not believe in credit.

Reading articles in time and Newsweek magazine when I was growing up that had me labeled as generation X.

On a sidenote, those articles lamented that generation X was ruining the country.

Now I read stuff that has my age labeled as a millennial
