You're a nurse aren't you? All the nurses seem to be tatted up these days.

I wasn't being sarcastic. I'm in the Seattle area and all the younger nurses really do seem to be tatted up.

Not all nurses. I don't.....and most of my coworkers don't as well.

A friend of mine who is a doctor just got a half sleeve to her left arm(looks like someone painted a bunch of colorful flowers on her arm). I would never get tattoos myself.....but have to admit her tattoo is really pretty.

Only thing I don't get is those who tat their faces....esp women

Is "shooting hoops" some kind of sexual code? It's getting harder for me to keep up with the euphemisms.

yeah I've never understood this. Or on the neck

I don't mind some tats on a chick with a Solid body. Definitely not a deal breaker for me unless she has face/neck tats

and no, my wife does not have any tats

I am sleeved and a professional. It is a very common occurrence here.

Seems it's fairly normal for nurses, IT people etc.

It's a case by case thing for me. Hot chick with quality work is good. I hate the overdone ones like the birds on the shoulders, stars, or wall of text on the ribs. Face, neck, or, hands is a no-go.

Sleeve on one arm, half sleeve on the other. I did wait until I was done practicing dentistry though.

One of my sisters is a doctor and she's very heavily tattooed. She has gotten a little heat for it but it doesn't seem to affect her career. She also makes minimal effort to cover them.

Liar. You don't 'sleeve' a leg. It would be called 'pantsing' a leg. You idiot.

AND I think you would say "I took it a step FURTHER..."

Nice to see you again.

RNs and MDs are heavily tattooed where I work. But I work at a county facility in easily the most liberal area of the US.
