Not yet but would love to work standing up for part of the day. Try having fairly serious lumbar issues - sitting most of the day sucks.

My company just ordered me an entire desk that raises and lowers. Call me a chode all you want. I'll be a chode with good posture and no lower back pain.

95% of the day is spent going from meeting to meeting. I get my standing in then...and I also don't get shite done because of it. Effing meetings.

My office feels so unfamiliar when I'm in it.

I had one for a year at a prior employer. Sitting for 10 hours staring at computer screens killed me. It was much better slipping on my tennis shoes and standing for at least half the day.

I have lower back problems after I sit for extended periods of times. If for some reason I was confined to a desk 6+ hrs a day, I would probably benefit from one of these. Majority of office chairs are horrible for posture.

I don't have one now, but worked at the ExxonMobil facility in Houston and every single desk in that place electronically raises like that. It's a nice change of pace for a few minutes if you've been sitting in your chair for 8 hours straight.

Didn't work for Exxon, so that part sucked. But got to hang out at their facility for a few months, which is absolutely awesome. They spared no expense. Literally every cubicle had every bell and whistle like those desks. And that does not even scratch the surface of cool stuff.

A couple people I work with got them about 6 months ago. First week I saw them using them both up and down. Since then I haven't seen one of them standing at their desk. I think it's not that easy to change heights.

Lots of companies offer these for their employees.
Of course I expect most places in the south to catch on in about 10 years

Boss has one at the office and swears by it.

Chevron the desks that lift electronically at their locations, and the guys we have that work there say they are great as well.

I thought about getting one, but don't want to look like a dumbass while standing up in "my open workstation"- aka cubicle

That's why one of my coworkers uses an old drafting table. He just raises the whole desktop but I haven't seen him standing in a while.

Regular desk here. I don't think I could work standing up. Just a personal thing

I see these all the time while visiting customers. Seems like a good way for you to keep your back from hurting/stiffening over time. I couldn't imagine sitting at a desk all day. Not sure I understand the hate
